Hi, Art. Hope all is well.

Here’s a question from a non-techie person like me:

I have been using an old, old Nokia cell phone for seven years now. I’ve never felt the need to replace it simply because I’m not a ‘cell phone person.’ But now that I have a blog, I feel like it’s time to buy a new one…something with camera features. So, my question is, what is the best cell phone to buy that will enable me to do mobile blogging? (Taking into consideration that I suffer from tendinitis.)

I know you’re a very busy man (based on your blog posts), but I’d really appreciate a response from an expert like you.

When you get past Apple’s marketing exercise, it’s old phone technology (not 3G) in an expensive wrapper, with a lock-in to a single service provider. It might go well in the Philippines, but it’s going to get a rough ride in Europe.

How’s the address lookup on this phone? Is it like older Motorola phones where it only allow the user to type one letter for the first name then scroll to find the actual entry? If so, this is sad.
